Tanjiro Kamado and Tengen Uzui vs Gyutaro was a battle that took place in the Red Light District. It focuses on the battle between Demon Slayers Tanjiro Kamado and Tengen Uzui against Upper Rank 6 Gyutaro.

Prologue

Daki's head was succesfully lopped off by Tengen. Tanjiro was both relieved and surprised by how Tengen cut her head, Tengen then rebukes Tanjiro that the fight is not over yet and told him to do something about Nezuko. He then suggests Tanjiro to sing her something like a lullaby to calm her down and revert her to her normal state. Nezuko then forcefully jumped back with Tanjiro behind him, destroying the window behind them and having them both fall into the ground. Tanjiro realizes no matter how hard he tries to reach out to Nezuko, it's just pointless to do so. He then asks his deceased mother what he should do. He then quickly remembers Tengen's suggestion, in which he then sings her a lullaby that her mother tends to sing to Nezuko. Nezuko then remembers the good times when she was still young and small, having her mother singing the lullaby. The young Nezuko asked her mother if she had ate a red fruit (as mentioned in the lyrics that someone asked the little bunny from the mountain, asking the reason why their ear is red, the bunny then said their mother ate a red fruit.) Their mother then looked at the young Nezuko and smiled at her. She then starts crying after Tanjiro sings the lullaby to her, she then slowly closes her eyes and falls asleep.

Tanjiro then realizes that she is now asleep, he was comforted and then said that she is now asleep to his nonexistent mother. The scene returns to Tengen, in which he is now going away from Daki, knowing that she'll just disintegrate after awhile. Daki screamed at Uzui to stop, telling him just how dare he cut her head off and so saying that he'll pay for that. Tengen then reminds her to stop grumbling around and tells her that he does not have any business with her anymore and tells her to just die unflamboyantly. Daki then tells him to stop 'joking around' and that she reminds him that Tengen said that she wasn't an Upper Rank a while ago. Tengen then casually says that she's not an Upper Rank. The angry Daki said that shein fact is Upper Rank 6, Tengen still does not believe that she is one and asks her how in the world did he cut her head off so easily, reserving her loss. Daki tells him that she did not lose and once again says that she is an Upper Moon. Tengen turns her words by again saying that she undoubtedly lost. Daki reminds him that she is actually strong, thus saying that she is in the sixth row now, easily saying that she'll get stronger from here. However, her words does not convince Tengen and he just receives it as mere bluffs.

Daki then started crying and repeatedly says that she's really Upper Moon 6, and that she even has the number to prove it. Tengen just stops by and doesn't believe that she is now just throwing a tantrum, he then thinks how long is she gonna talk. More importantly, he now wonders why her body isn't crumbling at all, she then says to her big brother, in which is not seen anywhere nearby, that her head got cut off. After a moment, an abnormal figure emerges from Daki's body, Tengen reflexively uses his blades to slice him, unexpectedly, they both was suddenly on their back, having the figure calming Daki down. The Sound Hashira then wonders what in the world that came out of her back and fascinates his amazing reaction speed. He then sees Daki with her head connected back into her body, he then quickly strikes the figure (supposedly being her big brother, sharing the location of Upper Rank with her), unexpectedly, it attacked Tengen back with a quick attack. Luckily, Tengen blocked his attack, not giving him that much of an injury. Her big brother then comments Tengen's ability to be not bad at all, and that he intended to kill Tengen right there and then. The battle between the Hashira and the other Upper Rank commences.

Battle

Gyutaro first admires Tengen's face, having nice skin and no spots, birthmarks nor prior wounds. He comments that Tengen has to be popular with woman as he is being filled with envy. With him commenting on that, he wishes the Sound Hashira to drop dead so he can claw out his entrails. Daki interrupts their conversation by requesting her brother to kill the girl who burned her. Tengen even points out that he has three different wives that adore him. This severely angers Gyutaro into him scratching himself and unleashing his Blood Demon Art: Flying Blood Sickles at the Sound Hashira. The latter cancels the attack out with his Sound Breathing: First Form - Roar.
