History

It is not known when the Kirimise Houses were established within the district. However, the location is the birthplace of Ume and Gyutaro.

Gyutaro was chastised for being hideous by other members of the sector until his younger sister was born. Ume became known for her beauty within the sector, allowing Gyutaro to act as her guard and known debt collector.[2] When Ume had attacked a customer within the sector, she was burned alive as punishment, and while her brother was crying over her corpse, he was attacked by the same customer. Gyutaro would go on to murder the customer and wander in the cold before collapsing and clinging to life, the siblings were then approached by Doma and offered the opportunity to become Demons. [3]

Later in the storyline, Hinatsuru poisons herself in order to escape Daki's surveillance and is sent to one of the Kirimise Houses as an attempt to escape. However, Daki's obi holds Hinatsuru hostage and she is left unable to escape. Later on, Tengen arrives at the House and defeats the obi, he manages to give Hinatsuru some medication to help her with her sickness and leaves to fight the Demon. Hinatsuru then able to recover some of her strength and manages to escape Kirimise for good. It is not known if Kirimise was destroyed following the major battles.
