Trivia
- The first kanji of Hanako's name means "flower" or "blossom" (
花 Hana?). Whereas the second kanji is a common feminine suffix, which translates to "child" (子 ko?). The first kanji of her last name translates to a traditional Japanese wood or charcoal-fuelled cookstove/furnace (竈 Kama?), while the second kanji means "door" (門 do?).- The fact that her surname translates to the word for a wood-fueled furnace is likely a reference to her family's occupation prior to their demise.
- Hanako shares her English voice actor with Makomo.
- Hanako possessed a wooden puzzle box much like Kotetsu.[2]
