Summary

Tanjiro caught in Yahaba's arrows

After successfully decapitating Yahaba, Tanjiro is cursed by the Demon as yells that he would not forgive him for his actions. Yahaba proceeds to attack Tanjiro with multiple arrows and says that if he's going to die, he would bring Tanjiro down as well.

Tanjiro becomes alarmed and uses Water Breathing: Fourth Form - Striking Tide to avoid crashing into a wall. The arrows start throwing his body in multiple directions and he is forced to use continuous breathing techniques to protect himself, he realizes that he has never used so many attacks before and that he was exhausted.

Tanjiro manages to safely land on his feet with Water Breathing: Sixth Form - Twisting Whirlpool. However, his body has already sustained a substantial amount of damage, leaving him with a broken leg and multiple rib fractures. Tanjiro lays on the ground, wincing from the pain but nonetheless grabs hold of his blade in his mouth and wills himself to move. He proceeds to crawl on the floor towards everyone else, mentally pleading for Tamayo, Yushiro, and Nezuko to be safe.

Susamaru is killed by Muzan's curse.

On the other side of the house, Nezuko is currently involved in a match with Susamaru, kicking the temari ball back and forth. After Nezuko smashes the ball into a wall with a final kick, Tamayo and Yushiro comment on her newfound strength and how it wasn't from the medicine she was given. Tamayo, worried about how Nezuko wouldn't be able to keep it up if Susamaru went all out, enters the field.

She begins talking to Susamaru, and provokes her by ridiculing her master, and calling him a coward and manipulator. Susamaru tries to defend her master by claiming he was stronger than anyone else and accidentally utters his name in the process. Tamayo's arms can be seen bleeding as its revealed that she was using her Blood Demon Art: Magical Aroma of Daylight, which acts as a truth serum to try to get Susamaru to mention Muzan. Realizing what she has done, Susamaru covers her mouth in horror and begs for forgiveness. Tamayo bids her farewell as Susamaru succumbs to the curse, arms rupturing through her mouth and stomach while Tanjiro watches in horror.
